مايكروسوفت أوفيس الآن مجاني في متجر غوغل بلاي

 

 

أطلقت شركة مايكروسوفت العام الماضي تطبيقها الشهير Microsoft Office على أجهزة أندرويد، وهو تطبيق انتظره الكثيرون طويلًا. المشكلة كانت هي أن التطبيق لم يكن مجانيًا كما تمنى البعض، بل تحتاج إلى دفع اشتراكات شهرية بخدمة Office 365 تبدأ من 10 دولار شهريًا لاستخدام التطبيق على هاتفك أو حاسبك اللوحي.

الخبر الجيد هو أنا مايكروسوفت أعلنت اليوم أنه بات بإمكان المستخدمين إنشاء وتحرير ملفات وورد وإكسل وبوَربوينت بشكل مجاني بالكامل. بالطبع ما زالت بعض الميزات المدفوعة والمخصصة للشركات متوفرة، لكن المستخدم العادي بات بإمكانه استخدام الميزات الأساسية مجانًا.

بعد تحميل وتثبيت التطبيق، كل ما عليك القيام به هو تسجيل الدخول بحسابك لدى مايكروسوفت، كي تبدأ استخدام التطبيق، وستصبح جميع ملفاتك مُتزامنة تلقائيًا عبر خدمة OneDrive السحابية.

بالتأكيد فهذه خطوة ذكية وحان وقتها من مايكروسوفت، ويبدو أنها ضمن سياسات المدير التنفيذي الجديد للشركة Satya Nadella. فمستخدمي مايكروسوفت أوفيس الذين اتجهوا إلى Google Docs لأنها مجانية، قد يقررون العودة إلى أوفيس لتحرير مستنداتهم على الهواتف والحواسب اللوحية.

غوغل تطلق تطبيق QuickOffice مجانًا لأجهزة أندرويد

 

تُعتبر حزمة تطبيقات QuickOffice واحدة من أفضل تطبيقات تحرير المستندات على أندرويد حيث تتمتع ببعض أقوى الأدوات لتحرير الملفات النصية وملفات إكسل والعروض التقديمية (بوربوينت)، كما تتوافق بشكل كامل مع الملفات من صيغة مايكروسوفت أوفيس.

وكانت غوغل قد استحوذت العام الماضي على الشركة المطورة للتطبيق واستمرت ببيعه بسعره المرتفع نسبيًا (حوالي 15 دولار لنسخة الهاتف و 20 دولار لنسخة الحاسب اللوحي). ثم قام في وقت سابق من هذا العام بطرح QuickOffice مجانًا لمشتركي خدمة Google Apps for Business وهي خدمة مدفوعة للشركات. لكن لحسن الحظ أعلنت غوغل اليوم عن إطلاق النسخة الجديدة والمحسنة من QuickOffice مجانًا لجميع مستخدمي أندرويد بنسخة واحدة تدعم كلًا من الهواتف والحواسب اللوحية.

يتيح التطبيق فتح وتحرير المستندات المخزنة على ذاكرة الهاتف، كما يتيح بالطبع الوصول إلى وتحرير المستندات المخزنة على خدمة Google Drive السحابية. وهذا في الواقع أمر غريب، حيث توقعنا لدى استحواذ غوغل على QuickOffice قيامها بدمج ميزات التطبيق ضمن تطبيق Google Drive على أندرويد، لكن هذا لم يحدث وأصبح لدينا الآن تطبيقين منفصلين لتحرير الملفات، مع تفوق لـ QuickOffice من ناحية قوة أدوات التحرير وإمكانية التعامل مع الملفات المخزنة على الذاكرة المحلية. وقد تكون هذه خطوة مدروسة من غوغل بهدف دعم أندرويد كمنصة إنتاجية قوية تتيح العمل مع جميع ملفات أوفيس دون أن تكون بالضرورة مخزنة على Google Drive.

عبر تحميل التطبيق الآن وربطه مع حسابك في Google Drive (ستجد الخيار الخاص بهذا في الصفحة الأولى للتطبيق) ستحصل على 10 غيغابايت من مساحة التخزين الإضافية على خدمة Google Drive لمدة عامين، بشرط أن تقوم بهذا قبل تاريخ 26 أيلول/سبتمبر. صفقة جيدة لكن للأسف فالتطبيق لا يدعم العربية حيث تظهر الحروف العربية مقطعة ومعكوسة لدى محاولة الكتابة باللغة العربية، نتمنى أن تقوم غوغل بحل المشكلة في تحديث قادم.
